The wine tour was excellent, and the food they prepared was superb. We enjoyed all the wines we tasted, and the bottles we brought home were well worth the price. The grounds are beautiful, too. What made the place especially lovely was the owner's warmth and hospitality, along with the history of ownership passing from mother to daughter.

The whites were fresh and vibrant, and the reds beautifully balanced. Every wine I tasted felt expressive and full of character, with the history of this family-run estate coming through in each glass. The women who have carried on the tradition for generations clearly have a real passion for what they do. Château du Payre brings together warmth, authenticity, and quality in a way that made my visit truly special. A memorable, authentic Bordeaux experience. 🍷✨

A great spot for exploring Bordeaux wine country, including St-Emilion. We had a romantic getaway here, with cute rooms and charming views. The duck "magret" was delicious, and we loved the wines. We tried a bottle from their amphorae production, and everyone enjoyed it.

It was the French dream for me. If you love France and French wine and want to stay somewhere authentic, I definitely recommend this place. Be sure to taste the wine, it's delicious. I recommend it!

Valerie made us feel very welcome during our stay. We loved the beautiful country house, surrounded by vineyards and old trees. Dinner was superb, with produce from their local garden, so we'd highly recommend reserving it.
