The Jeep tour was the part we’ll remember most. It felt nothing like a standard tourist outing, more like a passionate, detailed account of what happened here from someone who really lives this history. The property’s WWII memorabilia and remarkable décor give the whole place a special historical feel. It’s also incredibly peaceful, and our room was quiet. Breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with care. From the welcome to the attention paid to every guest, the hospitality was so genuine. We can’t think of anything we’d change. We’ll treasure our stay at Domaine Airborne and already know we’ll be back.

We stayed three nights as a group of seven, and Charles made every one of us feel like family. The rooms were great, the country house was beautiful, and breakfast each morning was something special. The location couldn’t have been better. I’m a history buff, and Charles knows an incredible amount about WWII. He could teach the subject, and clearly never tires of talking about it. Don’t miss Willy’s Jeep tours. They’re unforgettable. Even if history isn’t your thing, I’d say the stay is worth it. I feel lucky we got to spend those three nights here and hope I can return someday. Thanks again, Charles!

We went in the offseason, which I think worked well for a family with young children visiting Normandy. My family stayed here in March 2025 and had a great time. The staff were lovely, the food was delicious, and if you’re into WWII, the surroundings really make you feel like you’re back in France in June 1944. I’d definitely recommend it to families.

Charles’s Jeep tour is well worth taking. He knows the history so well that the events of that era come to life. The place itself is steeped in history, and we had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean and very comfortable, and the lovely breakfast set us up for the day. Thank you for having us. We’ll come back.

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was quite good. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet. This was easily one of the most memorable and enjoyable stays we had in Normandy.
