We arrived without a booking and the owners made us feel very welcome. Our motorhome pitch was fairly level, and the campsite was quiet, so sharing the toilets and showers between both sexes wasn't an issue. It’s a little out of the way, but a lovely walk takes you into Carlepont, where we were warmly welcomed at a country fayre. I’d happily stay here again.
We turned up around 10 pm and were welcomed so kindly. A quiet, green place with friendly owners. Thanks!
Lovely, spacious and clean, with beautiful old trees all around and welcoming hosts.
The nearest supermarket is about a fifteen-minute drive away, which is the one drawback I can think of. Otherwise, this was just right for a bikepacker: peaceful, with very friendly owners and cold drinks available when I arrived. The sanitary facilities are old but completely clean, and there are few to no seasonal campers. I also appreciated the new picnic table, which you can use while sleeping, on a quiet road in the woods.
We booked three pitches before the JRC Super Cup, and everything was clean and well maintained. The owner was very kind. The sanitary facilities are a little dated, but they were clean, and at that price, that’s what matters. A simple, friendly campsite. Thanks for the experience!
