Carnac Résidence

The food was varied, original, and excellent, and the thalassotherapy treatments were expertly and professionally done. The residence is peaceful and beautiful, close to the sea, and a lovely place to relax. The marine spa really needs major renovation and more space. I’d recommend coming here for a rejuvenating break.

Getting to the beach is easy, and the gardens are well cared for. The residential park has a charming feel and a good location, with convenient parking and access. There are quite a few steps to reach the upper floors, even though it’s only one floor up, which is awkward with luggage.

The studio was functional and in perfect condition when we arrived. We got a professional, friendly welcome, and parking right in front of the accommodation was very convenient. The fitness and spa area was included in the stay price, which was handy. The residence itself is quiet and ideally located near shops and Carnac’s main beach. A few small improvements would help: I’d prefer a bolster pillow to the two extra pillows, a shower caddy would make the space easier to organize, and it would be good to adjust the air conditioning. The spa could also do with some refurbishment, which I believe was planned for 2024. Hopefully that would smooth out the abrasive strips around the water circuit too, since they left me with some scratches. These points don’t change my five-star rating.

The apartment was small but functional, generally clean, quiet, and looked onto a pond. The price was very reasonable, and the staff were friendly. The residence is well placed for the beach, Carnac center, the thalassotherapy center, and walking trails. A nice extra is the direct route through the buildings and hotel to the thalassotherapy center, so you can go in your bathrobe. The center itself was pleasant and its staff were friendly. With the crowds, though, I’d probably avoid coming in peak season.
