The quiet rooms, comfortable bedding, good internet, and reasonable price made this a good place to stay. It’s an old grand house with a retro look, and the owner lives there. It’s handy for the Sunday market, the car park, and the famous truffle restaurant Chez Serge. Carpentras station is about a 10-minute walk, and the bus stop for Orange is only two minutes away. Breakfast is made to order, so book ahead. Pay close attention to check-in times.

Marie-Jeanne made us feel so welcome, and was warm and attentive to anything we needed. Jean-Claude and I had a wonderful stay and would love to come back. The room was spacious, very clean, and wonderfully quiet. The hotel is a beautiful former hôtel particulier, full of grandeur, and perfectly placed for getting around on foot.

I've stayed here many times, and each room has its own Provençal decor. It's an independent boutique hotel in a handy spot in Carpentras. Highly recommended.
