La Sembelie

The homemade breakfast was delicious, and our hosts were very welcoming. It's well located for visiting Sarlat and other parts of Dordogne. A lovely place to stay with friends or family. Hope to come back!

The breakfast was perfect, all homemade, and I'm already missing it. The place was comfortable, functional and very clean, with good bedding and a lovely pool. Our hosts were attentive and kind, and clearly enjoy the finer things in life. The only trouble was the dozens of mosquitoes that kept us from enjoying the terrace in the evenings. Thanks again to Brigitte and Jacques for their hospitality. I highly recommend staying here.

The breakfast was delicious, and the host's homemade bread was divine. You can feel how much the hosts care about hospitality. It's a charming guesthouse with lovely grounds, a harmonious feel, and a very inviting pool area. The decor is refined, the accommodation spacious, and the linens excellent. Our hosts were kind and delightful. We'll be back to explore the region.

Brigitte and Jacques welcomed us like royalty, and I can't praise them enough. Their home is a little gem of comfort. We soon felt at ease, almost like we were at home. The decor is tasteful and subtle, with warm colors. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is extra large. We really enjoyed breakfast, where the owners treated us to homemade yogurt, walnut bread, little cakes, and apple and fig compote, which was delicious. Everything was excellent. The weather didn't let us try the pool or spend time outside, but we'll come back! I highly recommend la Sembelie to anyone visiting this beautiful region. Thank you.
