The staff were so kind and welcoming, and even had books for the kids. Our family of four found the room just right, and we loved the authentic Corsican meals. We only stayed one night, but it was a lovely experience. It’s also an easy drive from the Bastia ferry, making it a handy base for excursions around Corsica. I hope we can return.

I couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The rooms were the most comfortable and modern I’ve come across, and there are mountains all around if you’re into hiking. Jean Francois took care of all the little details and was so attentive. It’s a great spot to unwind, enjoy the views, and leave your stress behind, while still having WIFI. Thanks, Jean Francois.

The food was delicious, and the walking suggestions were all excellent. We spent two nights here and had a beautiful mountain view from our room. Such a lovely location.

Dinner made by the host was simple, nourishing, and delicious, and our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view. Jean-François looks after his guests so warmly, while letting everyone enjoy the quiet landscape and slower mountain pace. We’re glad we found this special place, run with care and integrity by Jean-François, a true man of the land. It’s heartening to see tradition kept with such authenticity and freshness, without the over-commercialized, corny feel you find in so many places.

We still remember the evening glass of wine, watching the sun slip behind the mountains after a day of hiking. The nephew of the owner, who was a Shepard, made us a full three-course dinner from local products. The owner was friendly and glad to help, and his son was knowledgeable and a true Corsican. We felt very welcome and well looked after. We’d definitely recommend staying here.
