Hôtel le Golfe

I felt safe and welcome here traveling alone, and the stay went beyond what I expected from a two-star place. I spent four nights at the end of September 2025 in a superior first-floor room, not on the ground floor, with a balcony overlooking the beautiful Cassis harbor. Foliage blocked part of the view, though it also gave me more privacy, so I wish the branches had been trimmed. I skipped breakfast but enjoyed ice cream and wine. The room was cleaned every day. I’d definitely stay again.

The rooms are small, but the price feels fair and the hotel’s in a perfect spot. A harbor-facing room has a very pretty view, and there’s AC in the rooms. Parking spaces are very limited, so it may be worth reserving one ahead of time to get a spot nearby.

I’d happily visit again. The reception staff were so kind, and the room was clean and cozy, though nothing fancy. I liked having a great view and being right in front of the beach. I hadn’t booked breakfast, but added it during my stay and was glad I did, since places nearby are overpriced in this famous tourist city. Strong recommendation!

We enjoyed a leisurely buffet breakfast, which I’d recommend, and paid for the hotel parking because it was convenient. There’s cheaper public parking down the street, but we liked having the easy option. My wife and I had a harbor-view room with a fantastic outlook, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
