The hosts made this place for me. Dominique, his wife, and the gardener were wonderful, and Dominique was so kind and attentive. He had suggestions for places to see while I was getting used to a new city and country, and was always around for a chat. It felt like having a friend nearby, not just a host. I first stayed in this Gîte for a few months after moving to Montpellier for work in September, while I looked for a permanent place in the city. It was my first accommodation in France, and I loved it. The Gîte was clean, comfortable, cute, and gave me lots of privacy. It’s surrounded by vineyards, with a farm shop and restaurant/bar across the road selling local produce, cheese, wine, and some of the best pastries I’ve had. Larger supermarkets are a quick walk away, and the climbing gym and tram stop are nearby too. There’s clearly been a lot of hard work put into the beautiful outdoor areas. Plenty of spots are there to sit, relax, sunbathe, swim, read, or work. It felt magical, and I still think about it often, even though I now live only 20 minutes away. I hope to visit again, and I tell all my friends and family to stay here when they come to France. Thank you, Dominique. Hope to see you soon!
