La Cour Saint Louis

The owners are so kind and welcoming, and do everything they can to make your stay a good one. The rooms are beautiful and the place feels wonderfully relaxing. You get to share in life at the heart of the village, too. I recommend it and would come back.

La Cour Saint Louis made a great base for our time in Quercy. We were looking for a historic place in a village near Cahors, and found even more than we expected. It's a former school, beautifully restored as guest rooms, set by the fairground in a charming, lively village. Parking was very easy. The vaulted ceiling and stonework won us over. Our hosts welcomed us warmly in the bright, airy common room, which really feels like the heart of the house. We enjoyed spending time there with the other couples staying that weekend, especially in the evenings and over the generous, varied breakfasts. Our room was a large vaulted space with a big bed and sitting area. It was also completely private, with access from both the garden and the street, which was handy for luggage and getting to the spa. The furnishings were simple and tasteful. We were delighted with our stay in Castelnau and plan to return to La Cour Saint Louis on our next vacation. Many thanks to our hosts for all their advice and help.

The spacious rooms were very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was homemade with local products. The owners are open and welcoming, and we came away feeling rested after a very pleasant stay in this peaceful haven. I'd highly recommend it, even for a longer visit.

The house was beautiful, spotless, tastefully decorated, and had such a lovely smell and atmosphere. We had a fantastic two days, with amazing hosts and an exceptional breakfast.
