The rooms are very outdated. Our toilet was broken, and the shower attachment was hanging off the wall. At 150 euros per room per night for two people, that was a lot to put up with. The hotel manager was extremely rude and seemed not to care about his customers. A group of residents had bought pizza after being refused entry to the restaurant, apparently because the hotel may not have had staff to cook. The manager then locked the front door while he knew they were sitting outside eating. He did say the door is locked every night at 10 pm, but locking your own customers out is something I’ve never seen before.

We ate at the restaurant twice this week, and both meals were outstanding. The food was excellent, worthy of a Michelin star, and the service felt just right. With the temperature at 31 degrees, the air conditioning was a huge bonus. I can’t recommend it enough.

A delicious lunch, and the service was better than I’ve had in quite a while. To go with my red wine, the waiter adjusted the set dessert menu and brought me a selection of cheeses. No fuss at all, just a happy customer.

The rooms were clean, though nothing too special, and the setting in the French countryside was very quiet. We really appreciated the food and service at the hotel’s own restaurant. All in all, a great experience. 👏

The beds were comfortable and there were enough amenities, though the hotel could use a bit of updating. The restaurant served very good food, and the atmosphere and customer service were great. The people made us feel completely welcome and comfortable.
