The Vier family is already looking forward to coming back. The estate is wonderful and wonderfully quiet, with lots of beautiful game around. And a big thank-you to Madame De Courreges for welcoming us and for the excellent cooking.

Dinner by the fireplace, with a lovely fire crackling, was a highlight. We chose the elegant Margot room for our getaway in Gers, and its spacious feel and thoughtful little details made it special. Thank you, Madame de Courrèges, for such a warm welcome.

The homemade meals, made with produce from the garden, were generous, and everything felt just right. Mrs. de Courèges and her son made us feel very welcome, too. Such a calm place to recharge, though our stay was much too short. Thank you both for your kindness and hospitality. Nadine and Pierre.

There’s plenty to see around here, and this 13th-century building sits in a beautiful, bucolic setting. The chatelaine was attentive and made us feel very welcome, and there’s a set menu dinner available. It felt like a complete escape and a step back in time. We stayed far too briefly, a few days would be needed to really take it all in.
