A very nice hotel, though it can be tricky if you don't speak French. Arriving by car also makes finding a parking spot a bit of a challenge.

The room was clean and simple, and I liked the email with the entry codes and room key details. I only wished there had been a hair dryer. I’d booked breakfast, but hadn’t checked when it opened, so my departure time meant I had to miss it.

The hotel is right in central Castres, but it stayed quiet thanks to the excellent double glazing. My twin room had very small beds, though they were comfortable. The price was good value, as was breakfast: scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, very good breads, croissants, juice, and cereals. There was no toaster or fresh fruit.

Really good stay, with friendly people, a tasty breakfast, and a spacious, very clean room. Remember to leave time to find a surface parking spot.

The room and breakfast were good, and the location worked well too. The staff member was excellent. I’d definitely book again. Please see my review on booking.com.
