Domaine du Bas Caumont

The garden was a hit with our son, especially the little play area with swings and a wooden cabin. We stayed in 'Chambre Bois' on our way back to Calais, since it’s just a short drive from the Autoroute. Isabelle was so welcoming, speaks fluent English, and made lovely fresh bread rolls and yoghurt for breakfast. The house has a vintage French, shabby chic feel that we loved. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and even with our five year old joining us in the huge bed, the three of us had plenty of room. He did have his own little bed, too. It’s a fabulous guest house, and I really hope we get to stay again.
