The restaurant serves good food, though it's worth agreeing on the menu ahead of time since the dish selection can be limited otherwise. The quality isn't the issue. It's a fantastic countryside place if that's your style, with a small number of rooms and a pool. The hosts are very welcoming and do their best to meet your needs while still giving you space.

We've never stayed in the rooms, but have had a peek and they look great. This is my local restaurant, and we've never had a bad meal. Oz and his crew always make us feel welcome. We recommend it wholeheartedly!

The location is fantastic, with a view over the lot gorge, and the staff are super friendly.

The owners were welcoming, attentive, and easy to reach, and we had an excellent family stay. The one small disappointment was breakfast, which had few local products and a limited tea selection. Le Murier de Viels is a peaceful place surrounded by greenery, ideally situated for a holiday in the Lot and Aveyron regions, with a swimming pool and restaurant.

The owners were really friendly and helpful, and their recommendations for nearby villages were always excellent. Although we were the only customers for three days, the chef still made us excellent meals, especially the homemade ice cream and other desserts. The terrace has a fantastic view, which we could also see from our room, and there are lovely walks and picturesque villages in the surrounding area. The buildings and pool feel rather dated and could use some renovation.
