Vacances Perennes

There was plenty of room for all eight of us, and the apartment had everything we needed. The only drawback was having to climb to the third floor since there’s no elevator. Apart from that, it was perfect.

For three of us, the apartment turned out to be quite large, so I’m giving two stars for the size. The rest of the stay was disappointing. There was a musty smell, the place felt dated, and advertised items were missing, including a hairdryer. The bedroom and kitchen could use shutters, and the pillows smelled of sweat. The bedding was uncomfortable, and the apartment wasn’t very clean when we arrived. Check-out was stressful: we had to leave by 11 am, though the listing said 2 pm, and we’d have had to pay €29 if we didn’t clean before leaving. Free residence parking was advertised, but we found only street parking, and finding a space was very difficult.

The owner was very helpful and knew the area well, like a local tourism guide. The apartment was as described, well maintained, and in a quiet spot near the city center.
