The town, beach and surrounding area are lovely, which made the way things were handled all the more frustrating. No one seemed to care, and I think the stay could have gone much better if the host and staff had been willing to sort things out. We arrived with our young child and spent 5.5 hours waiting in the parking lot because nobody came to meet us. The staff member didn’t answer our calls or messages. She speaks neither English nor German and made little effort to help; she only apologized on our last day. Before leaving, we tried to reach her again and got no reply for two days. I found that disrespectful. The apartment was dirty and dusty, and we had to clean it ourselves. In a place advertised for six people, there were only two cups. The beach also wasn’t a 10-minute walk as listed, but more like 20 minutes. The location was shown incorrectly, and we only got the right address after paying.
