The gardens were spectacular, and the location was really convenient. We had a lovely weekend at this historic, family-run hotel. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and the staff made us feel welcome and were always helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade items. We didn't manage to use the pool, so maybe next time ;-) A superb stay.

The host made our stay at Hotel Ker Alberte feel personal and welcoming, with the kind of care that made us feel like part of the family. They also shared lots of useful advice on local attractions and how to explore French Guyana, which helped us get more out of the visit. The rooms were comfortable and had a touch of local character. After a day out, the hotel's warm, relaxed atmosphere was a nice place to come back to. Hotel Ker Alberte is a lovely choice for exploring French Guyana if you want a cozy setting and a genuinely caring host.

The night guard was friendly when we arrived, even late at night. This is a good choice if you get in late, and there's a car rental place nearby. It's a small hotel right in the city center, with a nice garden, an OK pool, and a very good breakfast.

The towels were dirty, and there weren't enough of them. There were no curtains over the windows either. I don't get all the positive reviews. People drinking in the garden shouted and laughed all night, and the frogs and crickets were really loud too.
