There was plastic in my dessert, which was the last straw. Before the starter even arrived, we saw the two île flottante desserts sitting in a fridge beside the toilet. The fish pot-au-feu included salmon, and the fish definitely didn't seem fresh, despite this being the coast. The fish soup was far too salty, and I'm sure very little was homemade. One of the worst restaurant meals I've had.

The fish pot was good, with a lovely cream sauce with cockles and mussels, and the seafood platter was good too. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients, but the food could still use some improvement. The sole meunière was nice, though the plain boiled potato and cabbage were a disappointing accompaniment. The traditional desserts were crème brûlée and rice pudding. The foie gras was a standard block; a slice of whole foie gras would have been welcome.
