Ancienne Ecole

The scenery is beautiful and gave us a real break from the pressures of life back in the UK. My partner and I stayed at Ancienne Ecole in July this year, as we had the year before, and both visits were wonderfully relaxing. I'm a fussy eater and have been trying to eat more cleanly, but that was no issue here. Much of the food and drink comes from nearby or is grown in the garden, and the flavour really shows. David and Teresa are friendly and attentive, and put a lot of care into making the stay enjoyable and memorable. We'll definitely be back next year to relax some more. Go enjoy. Jon and Yve.

We spent four nights here and ate here every evening, with superb dinners each time. Teresa and David have created their dream place, and we felt lucky to stay in it. The rooms are comfortable too. If you're thinking of visiting the Gers, give this place a look. There's plenty to do, or you can sit on the veranda with a nice glass of wine and take in the views.

The room was spacious, breakfast was good, and the hosts made us feel welcome. It was a very quiet place and excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast came with homemade bread, cake, yogurt, and jelly. The room was small, there was no TV or air conditioning, just a small fan. Fine for one night.
