From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and kind hospitality made us feel at home. The castle is a charming, peaceful spot for a relaxing break. We had a truly pleasant stay. Warm regards, Hervé, Sarah & Anthony

This is about the restaurant, not the hotel. The food was fine, but the service was awful, with staff who seemed under-skilled and not focused on customers. We asked a simple question about which menu items didn't contain undercooked ingredients, and were served a dish with raw eggs and dry cured sausage.

We found the rooms spotless, and the food was lovely at very reasonable prices. Breakfast costs extra, and it would be better if it were included in the room rate. The chateau is beautiful, with lovely grounds, and we got a warm welcome. There’s a storeroom for bikes, which was handy after our long ride along the Loire. A perfect place to rest. We’d love to return.

I'd put this closer to a 3 star hotel than a 4 star one. The facilities are basic and quite dated, and there's no complimentary water in the room. Toiletries are limited to shower gel and shampoo, with no body cream or other products. Breakfast doesn't offer much choice, about the same as Ibis, but at least the price is fair.

Madame Nadine Brocault is a wonderful host who takes great care of the whole property. Our rooms were impeccable, and the homemade food was fresh and delicious. The chic, cozy castle sits among impressive trees in the heart of a forest. It felt like a peaceful haven, a lovely place to relax and reconnect with nature. We’ll always be happy to return. Highly recommended!
