Domaine de la Bastidonne

Brigitte and Jean-Louis were kind, welcoming, and helpful, with great suggestions for local excursions that made our time in Provence even better. We stayed at Domaine de la Bastidonne in July 2025, and everything indoors and out felt well thought out. The house was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, with quiet, efficient air conditioning that was just right for the summer heat. We loved the pool view and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend for comfort, tranquility, and beautiful Luberon scenery.

The host was very helpful with our questions and recommendations. The house matched its description, with a clean, comfortable, well-equipped interior and a beautiful setting. The pool was especially relaxing. There are quaint villages, restaurants, and hiking trails nearby. I'd give it five stars and would love to come back.

Brigitte was welcoming and helpful, while still giving us plenty of privacy. We loved staying in Mas des Lavandes. It's tastefully furnished and comfortable, with everything needed to cook full meals. The big bed was wonderfully comfortable, just as advertised at hotel standard, and the garden is completely private, looking towards the ridge of hills opposite. We didn't need the shaded terrace in the mild weather, though I can see it being very useful in high summer. The pool was lovely, if chilly during our October visit, and we still had a quick dip. For a winter stay, the fireplace works well and makes things cosy. We can highly recommend it and definitely plan to return.

We spent a peaceful week at Mas des Lavandes with our two teenagers, and all of us loved having the pool, often mostly to ourselves. It was a great place to cool off while taking in the view. The gîte was simple, stylish, clean, and had everything we needed, with no odd smells. Brigitte uses natural products and furnishings. We ate our meals on the covered patio, and the house stayed lovely and cool. Brigitte was caring and helpful without intruding. After busy days, it was so nice to return to somewhere calm. I wish we'd stayed another week, and we'd definitely like to come back.
