We checked in at 6 pm on Saturday and left by 7.30 pm because a baby was screaming downstairs and no one seemed to be looking after it. My boyfriend was woken by the crying at 7am Sunday, and by 9.30 we had checked out because we couldn't take it anymore. The baby belongs to the owner and is kept on the hotel's ground floor, rather than being an invitee. I messaged the property to say I had officially contacted booking to file a complaint about the baby staying there. The owner got my phone number from the platform and texted me on WhatsApp, then again by SMS after I blocked him on WhatsApp, threatening and insulting me. He later told booking that we had been noisy, but we were the first to return at night, and heard the others arriving later. In the morning the hotel was chaotic, with babies crying and invitees shouting by our door. His behavior was abusive, like an old bully. Avoid this place.

The hosts were friendly and helpful. My room on the top floor was charming, though a little small.

Breakfast was generous and delicious. The bed was small and not very comfortable.

Really good breakfast, but the bed was too small and the mattress too thin.

The house has lovely old-world charm along with all the modern conveniences. We had a generous breakfast with both sweet and savory options, and our hosts were kind and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay, and keep up the good work!
