Hotel F1 Cergy Pontoise

For a cheap one-night stay, it was perfect and adequately clean. Hospitality and quality aren’t going to win any awards, and the lighting in the shared areas could be a bit better.

I stayed for 3 days and didn’t feel safe. The hotel was crowded, the rooms were small, the beds were in very bad condition, and the bathrooms weren’t clean. Breakfast was just coffee, juice, and bread.

The room smelled like a sink and something rotting, and the bed was so dirty I got 10+ bug bites. The shower curtain and sink had yellow stains, and who knows how they clean them. The toilet clearly hadn’t been brushed in a long time. Even though there’s a holder for it, the toilet paper was left on a rack where it could get damp. Disgusting, the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I just wanted to throw up. Don’t stay here, you’ll regret it.

The cheap price and a metro stop 6 minutes away, with a direct line to Gare de lyon, are the positives. The rest didn’t feel worth the roughly 70€ for one night. The hotel and area felt unsafe, with sketchy people around, and downtown Paris is a 1.5h train ride away. Breakfast was poor, just stale baguettes, cereal, and coffee from a machine. There were small roaches in the bathroom and the soap dispenser didn’t work. Better not to pay extra for breakfast. Avoid.
