I accidentally booked the wrong date. On the phone I was told there’d be no problem getting a refund, so I booked the date I actually wanted and trusted them. After a while, there was still no refund. I was told the workers were on vacation and couldn’t answer, and that it was impossible to reimburse me because I hadn’t checked in. It was outright lies. It took me x phone calls to finally get my money back, and booking didn’t help much either. Be prepared.

The rooms are separate and clean, though small, and the price is great. I could hear road noise from the dual carriageway, but it didn’t spoil my sleep.

Breakfast came with the price and was enough for me. The beds, pillows, and rooms were adequate for an overnight stop and good value. It was a very nice stay.

They charged my card for five nights on the last possible day, without cancelling the reservation. At first I couldn’t tell what the charge was for, since the transaction showed only the hotel’s legal address and didn’t clearly connect it to the booking.

The room was basic, just a bedroom and bathroom, but it turned out to be surprisingly cosy. I can’t remember sleeping on a more comfortable bed in years. The onsite cafe was clean and tidy, with reasonable prices. Wish I’d had more time to stay.
