Terres du Baguier

Geraldine and Gabriel were professional and there whenever we needed help. The Gites was a wonderful spot to unwind and recharge, and we enjoyed every minute of our fantastic week there. I’d recommend it any time, definitely five stars!

We booked just a week and a half before arriving, so the only option left was the largest house. It’s a lovely property and worked absolutely fine for our group of four, but I don’t think it’s equipped well enough for eight. The kitchen was beautiful, every bedroom had its own bathroom, and the room layout was good. There are lots of stairs and changes in floor level, which I found amusing, though that’s down to personal taste. There’s plenty to do around the grounds, including petanque, foosball, golf, a pool, a hot tub, and a children’s playground. The property is very spacious and has three rental houses, two smaller ones for up to four people and a larger one for up to eight. The terrace seating was uncomfortable and impractical. By the pool, the loungers were old, uncomfortable, and partly broken, and the pool water was very cold because it wasn’t heated. The covered hot tub was cozy, though. The shower in the downstairs bedroom on the lowest level sometimes smelled very unpleasant, even when it was being used. We’d still recommend the place, since there’s plenty to enjoy even without taking excursions.

Les Terres du Baguier is a peaceful, idyllic place to recover after a hard year of work. We stayed as a family and found the setting very pleasant. The host was always available, friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. You’ll surely recharge here. The one downside is that you won’t feel like leaving.
