Coté Marais

Our children loved the pool, and the facilities were such good quality. Noella and Tom were caring hosts who paid great attention to detail. We visited Côté Marais in July 2023 and would love to return. It’s also perfectly placed for trips to La Rochelle, Ile De Re, Poy Du Fou, and more.

The kids spent hours on the slides, swings, and giant trampoline at the far end of the property. The pool area was calm and idyllic for the adults, too. We stayed in the larger Gite, a beautifully converted 19th Century Barn with plenty of space and privacy, while still letting us enjoy the Manor house and its gardens. The hosts were warm and relaxed, and happy to help with any requests. It’s a perfect place for a large family or a group of friends. We can’t wait to return.

The garden is spacious and enclosed, with play equipment like a swing, playhouse, and trampoline. Our children and dog loved it. Noëlla and Tom welcomed us so simply and warmly that we felt at ease straight away. The cottage was spotless and comfortable, with very spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. I highly recommend it.

It’s a peaceful spot, with a large garden and a swimming pool to enjoy, and plenty of lovely places to explore in the Marais. The cottage is well located, a lovely house with everything you need and comfortable beds, which really matters. We got a very warm welcome, and so did our two dogs. I highly recommend it.
