The hosts Nienke & Ariel are warm and attentive, and they don't leave any request unattended. I stayed for 3 days and loved the feeling of living in the past, with so much character in this chateau. Even with its historic decor, it was as clean as an international chain 4 🌟 hotel. Not every chateau leaves you with memories this beautiful.

The owners made us feel very welcome and arranged a restaurant for us after our long journey. The meal was excellent, and breakfast the next morning was wonderful, with fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses in an immaculate dining room. We spent two nights at Chateau de la Verie. It's a fabulous, authentically french hotel, with airy, spacious, comfortable rooms that were immaculately clean. The peaceful, beautiful setting was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Thank you, we'd love to stay again.

A calm, really nice hotel to stay at. The bed was good, and breakfast was great.

We couldn't use the swimming pool because it wasn't open yet, but we felt so comfortable at Château de la Vérie that we'll definitely return. The owners deserve kudos for letting us enjoy this wonderful place. It's a well-kept property with splendid grounds and centuries-old trees. This magnificent family-run hotel feels like home, thanks to the welcoming staff and owners. The large room has traditional styling, ideal if you appreciate beautiful homes.

Tucked away in lush greenery at the end of a long avenue lined with century-old trees, this is a majestic hotel. The rooms are large and quiet, and the place is charming, if a little old-fashioned. The heated pool and terrace make for a very relaxing stay.
