We needed an inexpensive overnight stop on the way to the ferry, and the F1 was really handy for the N44 since we prefer avoiding toll roads and motorways. It was my first time staying at an F1 and I was impressed. Despite some concerns from the reviews, the place was spotlessly clean and felt very safe. It was quiet apart from road traffic, though it was boiling hot and we had the window wide open all night. There's a supermarket, mcdonalds, restaurants and a bar right next door. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was fine, with bread, toast, cereal, coffee and orange juice. At £43 for three people with breakfast, I'd happily stay again, and it'd be churlish to complain.

It was very cheap and handy for a big Intermarche, with petrol at supermarket prices. There's a Macdonald's nearby too. The shared toilets and showers were fine, though our room could have used a fresh coat of paint.

The staff were good, and even with the hotel fully booked it wasn't too noisy. The place seemed a bit shabby compared with some other F1s and could use a makeover. Our room smelled of tobacco, but otherwise there were no problems.

A good spot for a stopover, with a couple of restaurants nearby. Parking is available but quite limited. The room and facilities were tidy. For £25 a night, it's not going to be luxury, but it did the job.

A good place to stop for a rest and a shower. The self-service check-in is especially handy if you arrive after hours, and there's parking too.
