The location works well, with the centre just a few minutes away, the bus station nearby and excellent parking. Most of the staff are friendly, though service can feel abrupt when they're under pressure. We were ushered out of breakfast right at 10am, which felt a bit much. The public areas have had some attention and the reception, bar and restaurant are acceptable, but the rooms badly need a full update. Mine had scruffy walls, a dingy toilet and a small bathtub shower with no handle, which isn't easy if you're less agile. The balcony looked out at Mont Blanc, but the tin chair was worn and the cabinet doors were loose and wouldn't close. The rotary phone might be meant as retro style, or maybe the internal phone system hasn't been updated. This isn't somewhere I'd choose to spend much time in the room. For 400 euros a night, especially in high season, I expected a more premium stay.

Paul at reception patiently answered all my questions about the hotel facilities and ski resorts, always with a smile. Annaelle was also so warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay, and I thought the breakfast was fantastic. Hôtel Les Aiglons is right by the bus station, making it easy to get to Geneva Airport and the nearby ski resorts. I stayed there this January and had a great experience. I visit Chamonix often, and this will definitely be my first choice next time. Highly recommended!

Room 226 has the best view of the Alps. The hotel is also very handy for the bus stop, so getting to the ski resorts is easy, and there are lots of nearby shops to rent ski gear from. We were disappointed by how cold the pool and saunas were. After a long day on the slopes, we had hoped they'd be relaxing. Also, there's no AC if you're visiting in summer. Even so, the location is a real plus for a ski trip.

From the pool you get an amazing view of Mont Blanc, and the Alps around the hotel are beautiful. The place feels cozy, neat and lovely, with a really nice atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and you can use the sauna or steam room. Towels are available as needed in the pool and spa area. The hostesses are genuinely nice. Marion especially was kind, knowledgeable and so sweet to talk to. I recommend staying here, and want to give Marion a special thank you.

The views were breathtaking, day and night, and the hotel is very close to a bus stop that takes you straight into the heart of chamonix. We were also given an upgrade for our anniversary, which was incredibly kind of the staff. We had everything we needed during our stay. We played pool before bed and had a few drinks, though drinks were quite pricey: the cheapest rum was $13 and came without coke. Apart from that cost, we were super happy with everything. We were visiting Chamonix for our anniversary and will definitely book this hotel again.
