I first left a brief review because I was frustrated, so here's some context. I own Nirvana Dream restaurant in Paris and always check the terms before confirming a reservation. I contacted the establishment by phone and email before booking to get the details. I booked three days before arrival, then had to cancel 24 hours later because of unexpected work obligations. I understand the policy requires 15 days' notice, but the cancellation terms seem extremely strict when there are genuine emergencies, especially since there aren't special conditions for making a reservation. What disappointed me most was getting a call on the booking date even though I'd cancelled a few days earlier. That suggests poor communication and coordination within the establishment. My experience with the customer service wasn't satisfactory.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and breakfast was good. Staff were fabulous too. The hotel sits right where you want to be in Chamonix, and the café out front seems to be a local hangout.

The bar shuts at 8pm, which was earlier than we expected, especially in summer, and our room was just above it. We had a mountain view, and the room was clean and roomy for three. Breakfast was modest but tasty, and it’s a good little hotel in a great Chamonix spot. The soap issue left a bad feeling. There isn't separate hotel staff, it seems to be the bar team handing out keys too. When we told them there was no soap, they insisted that couldn't be right and showed us how to press the dispenser. It was empty. They made us feel foolish, even though we were speaking understandable French as best we could. We did get soap in the end, but the exchange felt humiliating, as if we were dismissed for being foreigners. Management should make sure guests are treated respectfully.

A cozy place right in central Chamonix, close to everything. The service was warm and friendly, and I’d happily stay here again on another visit.

It’s an older hotel, but it was kept clean and comfortable, and the window had a really nice view. The location worked well for going out, though nights were a bit noisy. I’d consider staying here again if I’m back in Chamonix.
