Everything else was very good, but for a five-day stay there was only one roll of toilet paper, and no shower gel.

The mountain views are magnificent, and the place is otherwise very quiet. There’s an underground parking space, plus a large free public lot right next door. It’s also near Planards park, and about a 10-minute walk from Chamonix town center. The apartment is in a spacious, three-story chalet, with a master bedroom and comfortable bedrooms and living room. It’s laid out very well, and balconies on two sides look out over the mountains and Chamonix. The only small downsides were the cemetery next door, mostly screened by tall pine trees, and some noise from the neighboring bar/restaurant on Friday evenings between 8 and 10 pm, probably just on weekends. I’ll definitely come back.
