Chalet Oryx seems to have cancelled our reservation for “overbooking” three months after we made it. If the dates were wrong, they could have checked with us sooner, given us notice, or suggested other places, and an apology would have been welcome. Now we have to find somewhere else much nearer the trip, when there are fewer places and prices are higher. We haven’t booked flights, ski passes, or other services yet, thankfully. If we had, we might have lost quite a bit of money if no suitable alternative were available. Be careful with this property. Your booking may not be secure, and you could suddenly have to make new plans.

Communication was great, and the place was spotless. The location worked really well too.
