The staff’s smiles and friendly greetings made us feel so welcome. As visitors from the Far East, we were warmly received, and that made us really happy. We’re grateful for the wonderful memories. Merci beaucoup. We stayed as three people and had a spacious, comfortable room with plenty of room for our clothes. The bedroom, bathroom, and toilet were all kept clean. Breakfast was enough for us, and the bread was delicious. We looked forward to it each morning. The whole hotel was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing.

My ski trip booking had to be cancelled because of the war situation in the Middle East. When I asked for a refund, the team was very understanding and kindly approved it. Special thanks to Marie and all the staff at Oustalet for their kindness and professionalism during a difficult time. I didn’t get to stay this time, but I truly appreciate their support and hope to visit and experience the hotel when times are better.

We had lunch in the peaceful garden away from the crowds: a delicious salad, homemade ice creams, and exquisite pastries from their chef. The pool was lovely, and our room had a view of Mont Blanc. The hotel was quiet and clean, with a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the town centre, bus station, and train station. Free parking, charming helpful staff, and all around a wonderful hotel. Highly recommended!

We spent 4 nights here during our TMB trip. The owners and staff were very friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and clean, with a balcony overlooking Mt Blanc. The hotel is well placed near the Aiguille du Midi cable car station, with plenty of cafes and eateries nearby. Even with such a central location, it was quiet at night. Breakfast was good, and I’m looking forward to staying here again next time I’m back in Chamonix.

The pool was beautiful and peaceful, and we were grateful they let us leave our suitcase in the ski room while we hiked the TMB. The tidy rooms had a great view from the balcony. Breakfast was savory, with plenty of delicious choices. The service was friendly, and the location was central and walkable. Definitely recommend this hotel.
