This family-run hotel near Chamonix was so peaceful, with mountain views all around. The warm welcome made it easy to feel at home, and the place has loads of character. Our room was cozy and nicely decorated in an Alpine style, with snow-covered peaks right outside the window in the morning. There’s a lovely sense of calm here. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, walks on nearby trails, and quiet time by the fire with a book. It felt like a chance to switch off and be close to nature, far from everyday bustle. A special spot if you’re after relaxation, beautiful surroundings, and genuine warmth.

Hotel La Prairie made my stay feel magical, with its charming accommodation, wonderful service, and beautiful alpine setting. From the moment I arrived, the warm atmosphere stood out, and the views at the foot of Mont Blanc were breathtaking. Whether you're in Chamonix to ski, hike, or just enjoy the mountain air, I'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

The rooms are simple but have what you need, and the garden and mountain views are lovely. It’s such a calm, cozy hotel, and you can tell the owner family puts a lot of love into it. Their personal touch really sets it apart. Ask them about the old pictures and objects in the breakfast room, the stories make the place feel like a movie. 😍 And don't miss their legendary blueberry cake or delicious pancakes. A hidden jewel near Chamonix. I'm already looking forward to coming back!

We stopped in for afternoon tea and loved the atmosphere. The hotel is so cute and feels like it belongs in a movie. The waiters were really friendly, and the crepes and ice cream were delicious. A hidden gem worth visiting.

I haven't stayed overnight, so I can't comment on the hotel rooms. But the garden has a beautiful view of Mont Blanc, and the staff are super nice and friendly. Great place to stop for lunch or a drink during or after a hike.
