We used the kids’ club a couple of times for my three-year-old, and he liked going. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, though quite basic, and the spa facilities were okay. The hotel food was great. We had full board: continental breakfast, then one hot meal with no choice at lunch and dinner, along with plain pasta and sauces, salads and dessert. The location was fantastic, with a riverside walk of about 15 minutes to the town centre and the pistes also within a 15-minute walk.

The owners were friendly, but very strict about the checkout time. It’s a lovely chalet, though very expensive.

The location is well situated, but that’s the only real bright spot. The comfort and service quality were very average, and the price was far too high for what we got. It felt more like an old hostel than a three-star hotel. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, so we slept badly throughout our stay. We could hear everything despite the claim that the rooms were soundproof, and the facilities were outdated. The room had no TV, and the Wi-Fi barely worked because there was almost no signal. The bathroom was hardly heated. Its old heater ran on a timer of around 20 minutes and barely worked, making showers unpleasant. Food was another letdown: the meals seemed aimed at children and were too basic for adults. It really wasn’t good, and the pasta was rubbery, as if it had been cooked and reheated. The spa and sauna were also restricted to roughly 20-minute sessions, much too short to relax and enjoy them properly. Very disappointing from start to finish, and the advertising was misleading.
