Belair le Camping

We had a lovely stay, and it worked well for the adults, the kids, and our dog. There was a safe area for the children to run around, with games available, plus a swimming pool and a peaceful woodland area to relax in or explore. The bathrooms and toilets were clean and well maintained, and the tent had electricity and a comfortable bed and mattresses. The owners speak French and English. Cutlery, plates, charcoal, and a BBQ were provided, and you could buy some food and drinks on site. We'd thoroughly recommend it.

The pool was a real lifesaver during the heatwave, and because the site is small, we had it to ourselves each time. Our family of four stayed six nights in a Belle tent at Belair le Camping, and had a fabulous time despite the sizzling weather. Laura and Ben were incredibly helpful, and their down-to-earth tips about local attractions were much appreciated. Each tent had its own fridge, and there were clean showers and toilets, a wash station with washing liquid and tea towels, help-yourself tea and coffee, an honesty shop with good supplies, and fresh bread delivered each morning. If you're visiting this beautiful area and want somewhere warm, relaxed, and safe to stay, Belair is well worth a look. Highly recommended.

A quiet, beautiful place to camp, with really good facilities. The showers were very hot, and there was a campsite hut with fridges and freezers to use, plus a lovely place for bonfires. The owners were lovely too. I can't recommend it enough.

Ben and Laura made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. They're a friendly family, helpful and knowledgeable, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The site has a beautiful setting, lots of space between the large pitches, and great facilities. It's also a perfect base for exploring around Brantôme and the North Dordogne. We'd definitely recommend Belair le Camping. Pitches are limited, which adds to its charm, so book early. Thanks for such a lovely start to our French adventure!
