The quiet and architecture at The Logis of Chantegrolle made this a lovely place to spend a week, especially if you enjoy history and design. Marie and Jean-Jacques welcomed us so warmly. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast had bread, brioche, honey, and jam made by local producers, along with yogurt and cereal. Thanks again, Marie and Jean-Jacques! 🤗

I first stayed here in September 2022, then came back in June 2023, and I hope to return in May 2024. The Eco-Logis de Chantegrolle is an old, beautiful house in the middle of the peaceful village of Champagne Mouton in the Charente. I stayed in the little apartment beside the main gate. It had a kitchen, bedroom, dressing room, and shower room, and felt very quiet and private. The rooms are stylish and artistically decorated, and very comfortable. The owners are friendly and charming, and are happy to help with anything. There are animals around, walks across the land, a garden to relax in, and several rooms in the house where guests can sit. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it.

The room is huge, and you can tell a lot of hard DIY work has gone into it. The staff were lovely and the room itself was great, though for now it's the only room available while the rest of the château is under construction. There's no Wi-Fi in the room, and shampoo isn't usually provided, but the very kind owner let us use hers. I'm sure the place will be wonderful someday, and we look forward to coming back.
