The dinners were varied and delicious, and breakfast was generous. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and everything around the hotel was clean and thoughtfully arranged. Hotel Les Glières has a warm, rustic feel, more like a welcoming guesthouse than a standard hotel, with hosts who made us feel like part of the family. We came for a summer stay and found it lovely for relaxing in the sunshine and exploring. The nearby nature is great for hiking and other outdoor adventures. The whole place felt exceptionally calming. We’d happily come back and wholeheartedly recommend it.

The location is a real plus, close to the gondolas and the town centre, with shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is quite good, but it’s rather old and could use redecorating.

The staff were especially friendly and welcoming, and the lounge and bar has a cozy fireplace. We had warm, comfortable rooms, a phenomenal buffet breakfast, and outstanding three-course dinners. It’s a wonderful chalet-style hotel in the La Plagne ski area, just a few minutes’ walk from the gondola. We’ll be back!

It feels more like staying at home or in a guesthouse than at a hotel. The restaurant was surprisingly good, with a plat du jour that offered excellent value, and breakfast had homemade jams, great bread, and fresh orange juice. The owners were warm and very friendly, as were the restaurant staff and cleaning team. The rooms were tidy, the beds good, and there’s a cozy fireplace and small bar. It’s also close to the ski lifts. I can highly recommend it.

The owners really make you feel at home. This place is cosy, quaint, super relaxing, very clean and rustic, and it feels much more like a big guesthouse than a hotel. I highly recommend it.
