The apartments look almost brand new, with a spacious, modern feel and a distinctive decor, including fake fur and pretend cow heads. It’s nicely done, with a high standard of finish, and the staff were friendly. We had no problems with the room. The location is handy for the village center, and the bakery is only a 30-second walk away. One thing to check if you're arriving late: the accommodation's website says check-in is available from 17.00 onwards at any time, but that only works if your key has been left in the check-in safe. I emailed to ask about it and got no reply, so assumed someone might be there around the clock. I followed up later and checked, thankfully, or we could have reached the place late in the evening after a day's drive and been locked out in the snow. The lifts aren't as close as some reviews make out. You can walk there in ski boots, but it's not ideal with children or while carrying skis. If you rent, the Sport 2000 ski shop beside the gondola lets you leave your skis and poles there overnight. Very good accommodation, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The reception staff were very pleasant, and we’ll definitely return. This brand new residence made for a superb stay. Our apartment was roomy and comfortable, with lovely decor and far more equipment than you usually get in resort residences.

The chalet is new and nicely decorated, but that’s about all it has going for it. In the middle of January there was no heating or hot water, and switching on two burners at once tripped the circuit breaker.

In winter, the big draw is direct access to the Paradiski area, including La Plagne and Les Arcs. The Courchevel lifts and the huge 3 Valleys ski area are also only 15 minutes away. There are plenty of summer options too, from walks in Champagny-le-Haut and Pralognan to mountain biking, tennis, horseback riding and swimming. The residence is premium and ideally situated in a magnificent, unspoiled village with lots of character.
