Au bon acceuil

The oven and fridge were so filthy they made you feel sick, and the toilet was covered in stains. The sheets hadn't been changed, so you'd be sleeping on ones other guests had used. Even the microwave was badly damaged and seemed like a serious safety risk. The mess around the high table was striking, and dirty underwear and socks were left on the only kitchen stool. Cameras filmed the kitchen, living room, and hallway leading to the bedrooms and bathroom. Ladies, be careful about walking out in a short nightgown, since you're being filmed like in Hollywood. Hygiene was awful, and the photos speak for themselves. The owners were also dishonest, in our view. We filed a report with the town hall and other organizations and rental platforms, including Booking. This guesthouse should be avoided. One star for the service, room, and cleanliness is far too generous. If we could, we'd have given it zero.

It was idyllic and peaceful, just right for a break, and we slept very well in the clean, spacious rooms. Nancy and Daniel welcomed us warmly, and their cooking was simple but excellent. We'd also brought along a recently adopted kitten, abandoned by its previous owners, which hadn't been part of the original plan. Nancy and Daniel took it in warmly 😻. I highly recommend the place!

Only the bed was good, as someone else said. There were eight guests across three rooms on the evening we stayed, and we had to share one bathroom, with the toilet inside it.

The rooms were impeccable, and I came away feeling completely refreshed. It's a quiet little place that truly lives up to its name, with a lovely welcome. Great for a work trip. Highly recommended.
