Charming staff and a great location, and otherwise a wonderful place to stay. There was no room service, despite it being claimed, and the shower dripped all day. We also had no hot water in the afternoon. Breakfast is provided, but expect to pay for even a single hard-boiled egg.

We only stayed one night, but it was a very welcoming stopover with a great continental breakfast and plenty of choice. The rooms were clean and the bedding fresh. Dinner was very good: our set meal had a starter, kebab main, and eclairs to finish, and everyone in our group enjoyed all the courses. There were indoor and outdoor bars, and we were invited to watch a pétanque competition that night, or join in if we wanted. Neither we nor the host spoke the other's language, but we found ways to communicate, and that didn't get in the way of a genuine French experience. I can imagine this being a great stop for cycling enthusiasts exploring the area. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.
