The drive to Magny Cours takes about half an hour. I first stayed here on the day it opened, then came back once or twice a year for the next few years. The rooms have loads of character and are furnished brilliantly, and the welcome is lovely. Breakfast is great, too. I’m not sure whether the pizza van still shows up on Friday or Saturday nights, but if it does, it’s worth waiting for.

The huge grounds are beautiful, and the rooms feel comfortable and cozy. It’s a lovely spot for a quiet, rustic stay without giving up comfort. The owners are so nice, breakfast is superb, and the four-legged resident gives you a friendly welcome. I’d highly recommend it.

The homemade breakfast is generous, and the welcome is warm and full of smiles. The new owners are great. It’s a lovely gîte in a remarkable setting, with spacious, very comfortable rooms and pretty decor. Go for it!
