Hotel F1 Rennes sud-est Chantepie

The room wasn't clean, the floor was sticky, though I think the sheets were fresh. At 3:00 a.m. the fire alarm went off, and it took 30 minutes to reset. Breakfast was lukewarm black coffee, a little bread, and jam, then I was told it cost €4.50 as I left. There was no room key when I arrived, just a digital keypad that I was told didn't work. I had to get staff to let me in each time or use the security latch to keep the door open, but nobody was around after 9 p.m. Don't stay here unless you have to.

I had a nice stay, and the hotel crew made me feel welcome. I hope to come back one day.

The broken door keypads mean there's no security, as other people have mentioned. There's also a wrecked car parked outside. I'll complain to F1 Accor and demand a refund. From the earlier reviews, this seems to have been going on for at least a year. Unacceptable.

We were very glad to leave. I felt uncomfortable the whole time, especially because if you needed the toilet at night, you had to leave the room on the latch or call a number to get back in. That's impossible with children. I expected a very basic place, but not dirty walls, mould, and no door key.
