Contact Hôtel le Moulin Neuf

We didn't stay at the hotel, but had a family lunch in one of the private dining rooms. The lake view was lovely.

For a single night, this hotel worked well. We slept soundly, and the staff were welcoming; the lake view is picturesque. The rooms are rather small and have no air conditioning. The bathroom has been updated, though the bedroom decor could use some attention.

The staff were friendly, the rooms comfortable enough, and the food good at reasonable prices. We enjoyed our stay and would come back. From afar, the hotel looks like a jewel beside the lake and forests, but up close it's an independent, rather tired 1960s concrete building. One thing to know: many guests are all-inclusive. At dinner on our first night, we were given a set menu and told that was the only option. Once it became clear we expected a choice, we were brought the proper à la carte menu. Keep expectations in check and enjoy the place.

After a road accident, we needed somewhere at the last minute, and this was the closest hotel to where we were. It's a wonderful spot right by the water, in an idyllic setting. The staff were very attentive and the service was excellent. We'll come back.
