Village Vacances de Chantonnay

A village surrounded by nature.

Being right by the pool was a real plus in the hot weather, and the whole place was very peaceful. We were eight for the weekend of June 21st and had two houses next to each other, which worked out great. The accommodations were clean and had everything we needed. We'll definitely come back.

The accommodation was clean and well equipped, and the staff were so pleasant, always smiling and attentive. We found the campsite quiet and relaxing. The manager also gave us excellent tips on places to visit. We'd highly recommend it.

The food was very basic, with little variety and not much refinement, a bit like a school cafeteria. A shame, because otherwise the stay could have been much more enjoyable. We stayed at the Chantonnay holiday village, where the welcome was very good and the manager was truly excellent, professional and pleasant. The houses were generally clean, with clean sheets and decent maintenance, but there were lots of small insects, cockroaches and spiders. That really affected our comfort, especially since no one had mentioned it beforehand.
