The village setting was beautiful, with a historic church and vineyards rising above it. Our room was comfortable, with elegant modern decor, and our hosts made us feel genuinely welcome. The monastery has been restored stunningly. I can't say enough good things about our stay.

The Clos des Dames feels like a place made for wandering and exploring. Even the village shares that carefully designed, high-quality look. Inside, the old cloister has been renovated in a clean style, with lovely art and attention to every detail. It felt like being in an architect's or designer's home. A very sweet dog greeted us, and we absolutely loved our dream stay.

The garden, flowers, cows, and horses made it feel like a fairy tale, and the well-preserved medieval village and surrounding area were so picturesque. There was delicious wine and food nearby. The old buildings were lovely, and breakfast was delicious and homemade. The decor had impeccable taste, and the place was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. It was hard to believe how beautiful it all was.

The decor is very much the star here, and it really is beautifully done. Still, there was no Wi-Fi, even though the region already has poor general connectivity, and no courtesy bar despite the remote location.
