We enjoyed two lovely dinners in the atmospheric garden, beside the pool and the renovated old city villa covered in roses. Chris and Tamsin were everything you could hope for in hosts and cooks. Chris grows all the vegetables in his garden, and Tamsin puts together an excellent three course Ottolenghi-style dinner. The hosts were so attentive, and the garden, full of fragrant flowers, was charming. The swimming pool was very pleasant too. It's a superbly renovated home, with an elegant mix of tradition and modernity.
