B&B HOTEL CHARTRES Océane

Friends suggested we try B&B Orleans and especially praised the breakfast. They were right, it was far better than what we usually get at this kind of hotel. The rooms were also a step up from our usual motorway stop, clean and with really comfy beds. We often stop near Chartres while traveling to and from our house in Correze, and usually stay at the premier class just south of Chartres. We'll come back to B&B Orleans.

A handy, simple hotel near the highway for an overnight stop when traveling to or from the airport. I arrived after reception had closed and left before it opened, but getting in with a code was easy, and parking was free. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the price felt fair. I was pleasantly surprised by this 2-star hotel.

I had plenty of room to park while towing a large trailer, and this made a perfect first-night stop on the drive from Calais to the south. There aren't restaurants nearby, but the host serves evening meals at a great price, and breakfast was excellent. The welcome was very friendly too. I've stayed at many B&B hotels over the past 20 years, and this is the best so far. I'll use it again when I'm traveling through Chartres.

Always a pleasure to stay here. The staff and manager are courteous, friendly, and helpful, and they speak both French and English. Rooms are neat and clean, with comfortable beds. Breakfast is great value and has a superb selection.
