The garden and old mansion made a lovely setting, and breakfast delivered each evening for the next morning was spectacular. It was so nice to take my time over tea or coffee and something tasty. The woman who checked us in was really welcoming, and the room was great, with a comfortable bed, a handy kitchenette, and a heated towel rack in the bathroom. Everything was clean and quiet. The location is great, close to everything and an easy walk from the train station.

We only had one night at Maison Ailleurs, which was our one regret. The family home has been renovated beautifully and authentically, preserving its history while adding all the amenities a guest might want. You approach along steps created 1300 years ago, then find a lovely, welcoming garden. It’s conveniently located for walking to the historic town, cathedral and restaurants. Cafe Bleu was our favorite restaurant. We’d love to return, explore more of this lovely town, and stay at Maison Ailleurs again.

There’s a lovely garden for guests to use, and the service is top notch. Just a short walk from the cathedral, this B&B feels like a hidden gem. Our room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend.

The garden is very well kept, and the location feels central while still being quiet. The room was spotless, roomy and thoughtfully furnished, with a very comfortable bed. The old mansion has all its historic charm without feeling shabby at all. One of the most beautiful places of this kind I’ve seen.

Marthe and Valerie were warm, personable hosts. Inside, the guest house feels very modern while keeping its historic character, and the bells from the local church and the Cathedral made the trip feel peaceful. It was a wonderful little treat after a long flight from the US and miserable traffic in Paris. I’ll definitely stay again.
